ZE-4DI-2AI-2DO یک ماژول ورودی/خروجی با 4 ورودی دیجیتال، 2 ورودی آنالوگ و 2 خروجی رله دیجیتال است که برای برقراری ارتباط slave از طریق ModbusTCP-IP (Ethernet) و Modbus RTU می باشد. این ماژول دارای عملکرد سرور برای درگاه ارتباطی اترنت با پروتکل Modbus TCP-IP است: پورت اترنت 100 مگابیت بر ثانیه، 4 کلاینت و وب سرور جاسازی شده. تنظیم پارامتر از طریق اترنت یا پورت سریال امکان پذیر است. همچنین امکان تکرار رجیسترهای Modbus در پروتکل TCP-IP (شماره 1 پورت اترنت) و Modbus RTU (شماره 2 پورت مستقل مستقل) و پیکربندی دو ورودی ولتاژ یا جریان آنالوگ وجود دارد.
