S501-40 یک شمارنده انرژی ماژول 1 DIN دارای گواهی MID برای اندازه گیری تک جهتی انرژی فعال در کاربردهای صنعتی و غیرنظامی است. علاوه بر انرژی، شمارنده میتواند پارامترهای اصلی الکتریکی را اندازهگیری کند و آنها را روی صفحه نمایش و درگاه ارتباطی در دسترس قرار دهد (اختیاری): نسخههایی که با رابطهای ModBUS یا M-BUS نیز در دسترس هستند.
