S6001-RTU (نسخه S6001RTU-4GWW) یک واحد کنترل از راه دور همه کاره جمع و جور با 31 کانال I/O است: 15 ورودی دیجیتال PNP، 2 ورودی دیجیتال برای کنترل آستانه، 4 ورودی آنالوگ 0..20 میلی آمپر، 8 SPDT. خروجی های رله 5A – 250 Vac، 1 خروجی آنالوگ 0..10 ولت و 1 خروجی آنالوگ 0..20 میلی آمپر. S6001-RTU همچنین به لطف پشتیبانی از پروتکل های سیستمی ModBUS TCP-IP، ModBUS RTU و IEC 60870-101/104، IEC 61850، قابل گسترش و ارتباط با سایر سیستم ها است. همچنین مجهز به 1 پورت اترنت 10/100 مگابیت بر ثانیه (RJ45)، 1 پورت RS232، 2 پورت RS485، 1 پورت میزبان USB و 1 پورت Mini USB است. به لطف IEC 61131 Soft Logic بر روی پلت فرم Straton، S6001-RTU می تواند به عنوان یک کنترل کننده کارخانه استفاده شود. مودم داخلی با فناوری های چند باند LTE، UMTS، HDSPA، EDGE، GPRS، GSM – امکان برقراری ارتباط از و از واحدهای مرکزی و نظارت از راه دور نیروگاه ها را فراهم می کند.
